Web ArchitectI design and deploy websites for businesses and nonprofits. Since 1995 I've worked in visual design and taxonomy, usability and accessibility, HTML/CSS and Javascript, and back-end development (PHP/MySQL). I've worked with a variety of CMSs and ecommerce products.
I learn quickly, I excel at finding creative solutions to big-picture problems, and I have a natural talent for group facilitation and conflict resolution.

What I Do

I have experience in visual design, mockups and wireframes, and interface design.
I test clients’ sites to ensure that they are intelligible, navigable, and satisfying.
I customize sites built on CMSs such as Wordpress, Concrete, Joomla, and ExpressionEngine.
I've developed ecommerce sites using PHP frameworks and MySQL.
My editorial background has given me the tools to add polish to the clients' copy.
I host sites and web applications for many of my clients.
